Beef has been an important item in Swallow Foods meat sales to non EU (third) countries. Beef is sourced not only in the EU, but increasingly from Australia, New Zealand and South America, with sales destinations ranging from Central Europe, Africa, the Far East and the West Indies. Despite the difficulties experienced in the UK beef market, Swallow Foods continues to develop trade and markets in the beef sector. In many cases, Swallow Foods are able to arrange for Sea Containers to be loaded in Argentina and delivered to inland destinations within Central Europe. Swallow Foods trade in all beef items for use in the EEC by the manufacturing, catering and retail sectors, distribution from pallet to full container loads. Sound knowledge of cuts and specifications enable Swallow Foods to offer a full range of beef products to all domestic and international markets.
